HIN domain encryption is an add-on for domain encryption, which enables a participation in the secure data exchange in the public health sector via the Swiss extranet "Health Information Network" (HIN).

HIN domain encryption also involves the automatic distribution of the public S/MIME domain keys used for this purpose among all participants within the closed user group. These are more than 300 hospitals, approx. 13,900 medical practices, insurance agencies, laboratories, etc.

Participation in the HIN requires the HIN connector licence.
