These instructions are used for integrating the SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateway into a Microsoft Office 365 Exchange Online (called M365EO in this document) email infrastructure. This integration aims at providing all functions and features of the SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateway while simultaneously exploiting the Exchange Online security and protection functions, such as Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) or Exchange Online Protection (EOP).

 

In this way, customers who have established their email infrastructure in the cloud under M365EO and/or moved it there from an existing local (on-premises) installation will be able to benefit from the advantages of the SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateway.

The SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateway itself can also be operated in the cloud here. For example, the appliance can be comfortably obtained via the Marketplace in Microsoft Azure.
