Note: The instruction below only applies to scenarios A and D.

For scenarios where SEPPmail directly communicates with your on-premises infrastructure, the firewall policies needs to be adapted to allow inbound and outbound communication.

Scenarios that require Firewall policy changes:

  • A - Inline with on-premises mail system
  • D - Parallel with on-premises mail system and on-premises mail filter

Allowing Inbound traffic from seppmail.cloud

You need to allow the sending hosts - see IP address table "Deliver hosts" - to send SMTP inbound (port 25) to the receiving system for E-mails (your mail filter or the mail system). See the IP Addresses table for details of your cloud region.

Allowing Outbound traffic to seppmail.cloud

Internal mails need to be sent to <domain>-<tld>.mail.seppmail.cloud.
