The SEPPmail cross-platform add-ins have been specially developed for Outlook 365.

Due to the limited development possibilities compared to the on-premises version of Outlook, three separate add-ins exist for Outlook 365 for

encrypt_32 Encrypt
(initiates encryption and signing)

read-receipt_32 Encryption with read confirmation
(initiates a signed GINA message)

no-encrypt_32 Unencrypted
(suppresses the encryption while initiating a signature)

These correspond in their function exactly to those of the COM Add-In for MS Exchange/Outlook on premises (see Buttons For Sending Emails), but always also in parallel include the trigger for "Signing". The other functions, which may already be known from the COM Add-In for MS Exchange/Outlook on premises, are unfortunately not possible due to the restrictions mentioned above.

The function triggered by the respective button is also active in the Ruleset Generator.

If there is a proxy in the environment, the URL redirect of the add-in to the SEPPmail downloads page must be allowed by the proxy, as the executable code of the add-in is located there. For example, the redirect could point directly to https://downloads.seppmail.com/.

Parallel use of the add-ins with the COM Add-In for MS Exchange/Outlook on premises is not recommended.

This could lead to undefined states when sending emails and consequently to the supposedly requested actions not being carried out.
