Initial situation:
An external communication partner sends an encrypted calendar query. Instead of the actual calendar entry (vcs), an html attachment with “PGP” in the file name appears in Outlook.
Cause:
The counterparty seems to have encrypted the calendar query with PGP/Inline. After decryption, Outlook cannot process the query.
Solution:
1.The counterparty may use S/MIME instead of PGP.
2.The counterparty may use PGP/MIME instead of PGP/Inline.
3.Invitations can be sent without encryption. This implies that no confidential data may be sent with calendar entries!
