Initial situation:

A GINA user is logged on to the GINA interface.

After some time without further action, the GINA user can no longer work on the GINA interface because the session has expired.

Question:

Is the time for the expiry of a GINA session configurable, or when does it expire?

Answer:

The expiry of a GINA session is not configurable.

When the user is logged in and the "Write" window is active, a keep-alive is sent every 10 minutes. However, this is ended after 12 hours by a "hard timeout". Otherwise, a session timeout of 30 minutes applies.
