Initial situation:

The SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateway rejects emails with the SMTP code "ERROR: Missing mandatory headers Date and From".

 

Cause:

The SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateway checks the RFC conformity of emails. If the obligatory email headers "from" and "date" are missing, the email is rejected with the aforementioned error.
