Initial situation:

DigiCert is set up as MPKI for automatically obtaining S/ MIME certificates.

When obtaining these certificates, however, a validation email is automatically sent to the email address of the applicant, due to which the automated process fails.

 

Question:

How can the validation email in this automated process be stopped?

 

Solution:

The organisations and their email domains for the user of which S/MIME certificates are to be obtained, must be validated with DigiCert.
