Microsoft is working on a new version of Outlook that customers can manually activate on their desktop.

 

The new version of Outlook is not yet feature-complete with the existing Outlook, especially the ability to correctly identify S/MIME signatures is currently (as of June 2024) not available.

 

SEPPmail currently recommends to stay with the old, full-featured version of Outlook until all security-relevant features like S/MIME support are integrated into the new version of Outlook.
