seppmail.cloud differentiates between three levels of users:

  • Tenants (enduser organisation)
  • Partner
  • SEPPmail (for example, support and operations)

The tenant level includes the actual user (accounts) as well as administrators.

The partner level mostly includes administrators. If partners use seppmail.cloud services for their own E-mail domain, they are also tenants. Partner (administrators) can access their assigned tenants. Tenant administrators can access their assigned E-mail domains and users.

End users do not have a role – the role "User" is assigned implicitly. This role cannot be edited. An end user can be deactivated like an administrator.

For the administrators, various roles are defined that work very similarly for tenants and partners:

May change domain settings, view services and deploy domains.

LinkUser Management

Is allowed to see and edit the internal user list.

LinkWorkflow_Mails

Receives notifications, for example during the onboarding or in case of malfunctions.

LinkAll Tenant and Partner Admins

  • May see archive of workflow notifications.
  • May subscribe to quarantine notifications for their own domain(s).

All types of users get access via the URL https://login.seppmail.cloud/ and can then perform actions according  to their roles.
