hint

Note:

The configured LFT size applies to message size after base64 encoding. All binary (and also most non-ascii text) data in mail is encoded using base64 which increases the size by around 30% compared to what is shown in a file manager, for example.

Field

Description

anchor link off / plain / secure

Base LFT setting for the listed domain(s):

  • off: deactivates LFT for this GINA domain
  • plain: Displays the LFT email in the GINA portal immediately and without entering a password, by opening the HTML attachment.
  • secure: When selecting this option, the recipient of an LFT email must pass through the GINA registration process to be able to read the LFT email.

anchor link Maximum

Maximum size of the LFT mail in MB. Messages larger than this maximum will be returned to the sender with an error message.

anchor link Threshold
