The goal is the initial access to the web browser-based administration interface, which is used for the further configuration without exception.
The SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateway generally obtains an IP address dynamically at the initial start-up, provided that the conditions in the existing network infrastructure exist for this. If this is the case and if the acquired IP address is known, you can directly continue with Login As Administrator.

If no IP address can be obtained dynamically, the appliance will start with the IP address 192.168.1.60. If the appliance is connected to a subnet in which this address is already assigned, for the initial start, the connection to the network is to be interrupted. |
