Requirement:

The frontend system must reach the backend system via port 22 SSH.

If the Large File Transfer (LFT) is active, communication via port 22 SSH must be enabled in both directions. Furthermore, the frontend system must have an LFT disk with an identical size to the one on the backend system connected. Additionally, the GINA interface of the frontend system must be reachable from the Internet.

 

Backend system

 

•Cluster Prepare for Cluster Download Cluster Identifier download the "Cluster Identifier" (file clusterid.txt).

 

GINA Satellite system

 

•Cluster Add this device as frontend server

oCluster Identifier
Upload the "Cluster Identifier" that was previously downloaded in the backend system (file clusterid.txt)
 

oExisting appliance IP
Enter the IP address of the backend system

 

oConnect Start
Establish and save the connection with the backend system
