With account-based GINA versions (Standard Process, One-Time Password OTP SMS (account password available)), the GINA user has the option – by means of
•Self-Service Password Management (SSPM)
– of resetting their password themselves if they lose it.
Furthermore, after logging in to the GINA interface, the user has the option of editing their account data themselves. In this way, each GINA user can customise their name, mobile phone number and preferred language (Figure 5a).

Likewise, the GINA user can, of course, change their password and – depending on the password reset method chosen by the operator of the SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateway (see also Self-Service Password Management (SSPM)) – also change the security question and the answer to this question (Figure 5b).

Provided this is enabled by the operator of the SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateway, the GINA user has further options available within their profile:
•(optional) Initial Message Writing
•Self-Service Password Management (SSPM)
