Generally, changes to the EXTENDED POSTFIX MTA SETTINGS are not necessary!

If changes are nevertheless necessary in complex infrastructures, these must be made carefully, since the entry of incorrect values can lead to a complete system failure and/or a failure of the email flow. Knowledge in postfix is a precondition.

The EXTENDED POSTFIX MTA SETTINGS comprise machine-related settings. This means these are synchronised not in the Cluster and thus have to be individually implemented on each cluster partner as needed.

Description

Specifies the postfix parameter to be adjusted.

Explanations on the individual parameters are available at www.postfix.org/postconf.5.html.

anchor link Postfix default setting

Specifies the postfix default value of each Tag.

anchor link Appliance default setting

Specifies the SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateway default value of the Tag if it deviates from the postfix default value.

anchor link Appliance dynamic setting

Specifies the parameters which were configured via other configuration fields of the SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateway and thus overwritten.

Input field for manual adjustment of the respective parameter.
