Displays the intended purpose of the certificate, taking only the purposes from the following table into account.

Parameters

Description

anchor link CheckBoxInactive Allow decryption

Shows whether this certificate is used for decrypting emails to the email address(es) entered under User ID (Identification).

By default, all OpenPGP keys available for the user are used for decryption.

anchor link CheckBoxInactive Allow signing

Indicates whether this OpenPGP key may be used for signing. In general, the key with the longest validity period is used for signing emails (see also Mail Processing Ruleset generator Signing Outgoing e-mails third note). However, if OpenPGP keys are to be explicitly excluded from this, this can be done at this point.

anchor link Comment

Here, you can enter a personal comment about the OpenPGP Key, for example why the corresponding trust position was granted.

Click on Save comment to save this comment.

The Download public key allows you to save the public key in text format as an asc file. Clicking on Send public key by email sends the public key in text format as asc file to the address given in User ID (Identification).

Clicking on Delete removes the OpenPGP key pair, i.e. private (!) and public key, from the appliance.
