If the SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateway has finished its start-up sequence, a login prompt appears:

By default, the appliance initially obtains an IP address dynamically - exclusively (!) on "Interface 1" (see IP Addresses).

Thus, the administration interface can also be reached without the above-mentioned console input, if applicable.

In most cases, this is relevant in the case of installation in cloud environments.

 

After this the URL for the administrator login is displayed:

 

IP Address for interface 'vic0' set to '172.16.161.50/24', gateway set to '172.1

6.161.1'

DNS set to 'built-in'

Now the web administration portal of the SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateway can be reached via the displayed URL in the browser until a reboot (see Login As Administrator).

 

If necessary, the "Initial network setup" can be called up again via the Rudimentary System Commands.
