Clicking on Display managed domain certificate... checks whether the indicated email domain also participates in the SEPPmail Managed Domain Service.
The search term is entered as a character string.
Whether the entered domain(s) is/are also released for the Managed Domain Service is indicated in the column SEPPmail Managed Domain Encryption of the table under Mail System Managed Domains.
Section Managed SEPPmail domain certificates
Since all SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateways (see Mail System Managed Domains Settings S/MIME domain keys) participate in the Managed Domain Service by default, between SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateways, at least a Domain encryption takes place without having to explicitly exchange key material.
The Managed Domain Service certificates are exchanged automatically every (changed in version 12.0.11) six hours every hour via the SEPPmail key server, provided that the option Auto-update S/MIME domain certificates is active. If necessary (e.g. if a new, known communication partner is added), an immediate download of the newly added keys can be enforced via the Update domain certificates... button.
The number of email domains that have this service is specified in the text directly below the section header.
The domains with which encrypted communication took place via the Managed Domain Service in the last three months are listed in the table of this section according to top-level domain.
The Managed Domain Service uses the S/MIME encryption algorithm AES256. |
