Initial situation:

Large File Transfer (LFT) is active on the SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateway.

 

Question:What is the maximum size for an LFT message?

 

Answer:

Generally, limitations can be implemented on a customer-specific basis under Change GINA Settings for Large File Transfer for each GINA Domain.

 

However, this comes with system-related restrictions. This mainly refers to the size of the LFT partition provided (please also refer to LFT store).

If LFT emails are delivered via the "normal" email flow, i.e. from the Groupware server directly via SMTP, a system-dependent restriction results from the SMTP partition sizes. The exact size of this restriction can be obtained from the comment "(Note: cannot exceed xxxxx kB)" in Max message size.
