Initial situation:
In one or more clients, the buttons of SEPPmail Microsoft Outlook COM-Add-In are not displayed.
Possible solutions:
•Installation of the current add-in (see https://downloads.seppmail.com/index.php/outlook-plugin/), if possible via setup (not via MSI, because of user account management)
•If an older version has been updated,
oclose Outlook
ouninstall the add-in
orestart the machine
oremove possibly remaining registry keys (Configuration / Registry)
oinstall the current add-in again.
•Check that the add-in was not automatically deactivated by Outlook at start for these user (see also Repeated Deactivation Of MS Outlook Add-In By Outlook)
•Check the registry settings of the affected machines (see also Configuration / Registry)
•If any GPOs are in use for controlling the add-in (see also Add-In Administration), please check their settings
•Sometimes, virus scanners prevent the creation of registry keys
oDeactive the virus scanner (at least during installation)
oDefine exceptions in the virus scanner
•Check the logs (see also Storage Location Of LOG Files of MS Outlook Add-In)
