Initial situation:

The SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateway hosted in Microsoft Azure shows a temporarily high utilisation of the database partition.

If applicable, watchdog messages about this are sent to the postmaster and members of the admins group.

 

Question:

Why is the utilisation of the database partition temporarily very high and how can this behaviour be stopped?

 

Cause:

The cause for the temporarily high utilisation peaks is the Microsoft Azure Guest Agent, which occupies the memory for the collection of data for the statistics available in Microsoft Azure  

 

Solution:

Switch off the Enable Microsoft Azure Guest Agent option in the Virtualisation tools section of the System menu.
