Administrative user groups are already defined in this menu (see table). These groups are used to enable individual users to log in interactively to the administration interface. Furthermore, it is possible to create further groups for use in the ruleset via the Create new user group... button (see Mail Processing Ruleset generator Custom commands).
Clicking on the Edit button allows you to edit the respective group (group name and description) as well as assign users to them. Usually, only users who have been assigned a password can be allocated to a group (please also refer to Users User Data Password). If the checkbox Edit for all users is ticked before the Edit... button is clicked on, Users without a password are also available for selection. This is of particular interest for groups to which an email dispatch is coupled (admin, backup, statisticsadmin, x509rootcertificatesadmin) or for self-created groups, if applicable.
Note: It is possible to delete each group in the submenu . However, we recommend to keep all predefined groups. |
