This submenu provides detailed information on the GINA user. This menu is also used for manual password resetting, e.g. by the support team (see GINA Domains Domains CHANGE GINA SETTINGS FOR Admin).

 

Parameters

Description

anchor link Creation info

Shows

who has sent the initial GINA email, if applicable, and thus created the user (display of the email address for non-registered and/or "Created by..." for already registered users)

whether it is a self-registered user (account...)

anchor link Name

If the user has registered, the name that they entered during registration is displayed here.

anchor link Email

Displays the email address of the user.

anchor link Password reminder

two statuses are possible:

(Hidden)                for registered users

Not set                for unregistered users (account status "... (unregistered user)")

anchor link Password

Input fields for the manual reset of the password by an administrator. The GINA user must then change the password when they next log in.

Forces the GINA user to change the password when they next log in.

anchor link CheckBoxInactive Zip attachment

Establishes individually for the user whether they receive the GINA email attachment in ZIP format instead of HTML format (compare also Always zip HTML attachments when encrypting e-mail with GINA technology).

If an account is explicitly blocked via this menu, this block is to be removed manually again, if applicable. Automatic blocks are removed via setting (GINA Domains Domains CHANGE GINA SETTINGS FOR Account login).

Shows whether the user is locked (for example, after multiple incorrect entries of the password) or whether the administrator can lock the user by activating the button.

Shows whether the user is active or whether the administrator can return the user to the active status by activating the button "Active".

Shows information on how a user was created.

Shows the time the user was created

CheckBoxInactive Exclude this account from external authentication

If an external authentication is activated (please also refer to Mail System Managed Domains ADD/EDIT MANAGED DOMAIN External authentication and/or CHANGE GINA SETTINGS FOR IDP settings), this can be disabled for individual accounts by checking this option.

This option is only visible in GINA accounts which are assigned to a Managed domain and/or GINA Domain in which external authentication is active.

User-individual setting for the password reset procedure. This setting overrides the global setting under GINA Domains Domains CHANGE GINA SETTINGS FOR Account login.

Mobile phone number for resetting the password via SMS.

By clicking the Show user logs button, a detailed log regarding the activities of the corresponding GINA user opens.

 

 

All changes made are saved via the Save changes button.

A GINA user can be deleted with Delete account.

Deleting a GINA user will also irreversibly delete their key. Thus, they will not be able to read any GINA  emails which may remain in their inbox. The content of these emails is therefore lost!
