In this case, the SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateway uses X-headers internally at some points when processing emails.

The X-headers for controlling the appliance, which are usually set by the SEPPmail Microsoft Outlook Add-In, can be found in the table in the chapter "Controlling The Appliance subject line keywords / X-headers". The X-headers listed there are first converted into the respective subject line keyword. The further course of the ruleset then only uses these corresponding keywords.

 

The meaning of the x-headers is shown in the following table:

Refers to an email sent to a Managed domain .

X-SM-internal

Refers to an email sent from a Managed domain to a Managed domain .

X-SM-outgoing

Refers to an email sent from a Managed domain to the Internet.

X-SM-encrypted

Refers to an email which has been encrypted.

X-SM-decrypted

Refers to an email which has been decrypted.

X-ESWmail-Encrypted /yes

Refers to an email which has been encrypted by GINA technology.

X-ESWmail-Plain / yes

Refers to an email which has been created via the GINA interface and which should be delivered directly - that is without further encryption - to the internal recipient.

X-ESWmail-Reply / yes

Refers to a GINA reply email.

X-ESWmail-Copy / yes

Refers to a GINA reply email copy (see also Send copy to myself).

X-ESWmail-Noreply / yes

If this X-header has been set and if the GINA encryption is used, the recipient of the GINA mail will not be able to reply to the message, irrespective of the settings of the corresponding GINA Domain (see Domains GINA name).

Refers to an LFM email.

X-ESWmail-InternalEncrypt /yes

Refers to an email which has been encrypted internally by means of GINA technology.
