This submenu is called up from Customers Multiple Customers.

 

This menu is used to create new customers (tenants) or to manage existing customers on the SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateway.

New customers can be created manually or by importing an existing customer backup (e.g. for migrating a customer to another machine).

anchor link Section Customer details

 

This section contains information about the customer and behaves differently depending on the mode - "Create" or "Edit".

 

Parameters

Description

anchor link Customer

Input of the system name for a new customer. The entry is only possible when creating a new customer. In editing mode, the name is only displayed.

anchor link Customer name

Display name of the customer.

anchor link Tenant-UUID

(new in 13.0.0)

Unique UUID that is automatically generated during creation of the customer (tenant).

anchor link Customer admin email

Email address of the customer administrator who is to receive the client-specific system messages.

anchor link Comment

Optional, freely selectable comment.

anchor link Creation info

System information for creating the customer (tenant). This field only appears after the customer has been created, that is, in editing mode.

 

In "Create" mode, the user is created with the given data by means of the Create button. The system then switches to editing mode.

In the editing mode, the changes made are applied via the Change button.

 

 

anchor link Section Import backup

 

This section only appears in the "Create" mode and is used to create new customers by importing an existing customer backup (for example, to migrate a customer to another machine).

The existing backup file will be imported via the Import backup file... button.

 

All subsequent menus can only be viewed by the system administrator in the editing mode.

 

anchor link Section Customer administrators

 

Used to manage customer admins. Customer admins are able to interactively log into the system and see the relevant menus Login/Logout, Logs, Users, GINA Domains, GINA Accounts, Customers and, optionally if activated, LFT Accounts. The display in the menus is limited exclusively to the data of the respective customer.

Already assigned customer admins are shown in the following table and can be managed there.

Shows the user ID of the respective administrator as displayed under Users.

Shows the email address of the respective administrator as it is displayed under Users.

anchor link Remove from this customer

Includes the Remove button for removing the corresponding customer admin.

 

The additional table in the section is used to assign additional customer admins.

Contains the drop-down menu DropDown for selecting the user to be assigned as customer admin.

anchor link Assign to this customer

With the Assign button, the user selected under Name is added as a customer admin.

Customer admins must have a password (see Users USER 'USER@DOMAIN.TLD' User Data Password) to log into the system!

If a customer admin is assigned by the machine admin (see Groups administrator)to Groups readonlyuser (Read-only GUI access to restricted sections), this customer admin has read-only right only.

 

 

anchor link Section Licence limiter

 

Here, the licences available to the respective customer can be limited.

If a field is left empty, there is no limit. This means that the customer can obtain any number of licences from the total contingent of the machine.

anchor link Section Managed domains

 

In this section, the Managed Domains assigned to the customer are displayed. The allocation of Managed Domains to the customer usually takes place when the domain is created via the menu Mail System Managed Domains ADD/EDIT MANAGED DOMAIN Bounce templates.

Displays the assigned Managed domain(s)

anchor link Remove from this customer and reassign to Default Customer

Includes the Remove button for removing the corresponding Managed domain.

anchor link Settings

(new in 14.0.0)

Here various settings can be made.

 

For example, the LFT use can be specified. If not specified, the default values are inherited.


anchor link Global LFT quota in MB

Defines the global quota for this customer. LFT will not exceed this value.


anchor link Global LFT quota warn levels

The default is "80,90,95". If the global quota exceeds one of these values, a notification email is sent.


anchor link Enforce global LFT quota

If activated, the global quota is strictly adhered to. If not, then only a warning is issued if the global quota is overwritten. Possible values are "true", "false" and "reset to default values".


anchor link User LFT quota in MB (must not be bigger than global quota of 2000)

Defines the quota per user of this customer.


anchor link Users are allowed to use LFT

Allows specifying if the user may use LFT. Possible values are "true", "false" and "reset to default values".

 

The following table is only displayed if there are unassigned Managed Domains.

Contains the drop-down menu DropDown for selecting the Managed domain to be assigned to the customer.

With the Assign button, the user selected under Domain name is added as a customer admin.

 

 

anchor link Section Assigned GINA accounts

 

In this section, the number of GINA users assigned to the customer is displayed.

With the Manage accounts button, GINA users of the customer can be managed and, if applicable, non-allocated accounts can be assigned (see MANAGE ASSIGNED GINA ACCOUNTS).

 

 

anchor link Section Backup/Restore

 

Parameters

Description

anchor link Backup

The system or customer administrator can start the download of customer backup files via the Download button. The file only contains the customer-relevant configuration and its key material. One precondition for downloading the backup is the assignment of a backup password, which can be set/changed via Change password.

anchor link CheckBoxInactive Automatically send backup to customer admin email

By activating this option, the entered customer administrator receives their client backup daily by email. Any change to this option must be confirmed by clicking the Change button.

anchor link Restore

With Import backup file..., the customer backup can be restored by the system or customer administrator. This requires the backup password valid at the point in time at which the backup was created. The import of the backup completely restores the customer-specific parts of the appliance - with the exception of the log files.

In client-capable systems, the options listed here replace the settings with the same name under GINA Domains Settings.

 

Changes are saved via the Change button.
